STIHL 4.8 mm Chainsaw 2 IN 1 Chainsaw Teeth Quick Sharpener File

I was quite impressed with this chain sharpener. I started with a dull chain, and it did an amazing job of sharpening the chain on the first try. My chain is a 3/8 Low Profile Oregon chain. I had tried a clamp-on filing rig and a Dremel, and neither one sharpened the chain. This one sharpened it on the first try. This will be my go-to sharpener from now on!

The product works for Husqvarna .325 chain (Rancher 450, which is a weird version of the Rancher from Lowes, a 20-inch chain with .325 measurement). The files seemed glued in, but I was able to pull them out with some pliers and drilled the hole out a bit with a drill bit so that the files can easily be pulled out when they need to be replaced. Great mobile sharpener for out in the field.

Sharpening a chainsaw has always seemed to be one of the mysteries of life that was beyond me. I would either buy a new chain or take it to a sharpening company. Needless to say, most of the time I always had a dull chain. After watching a video and reading the instructions included with the sharpener, I gave it a try. I'm happy to say I now have a sharp chain, and it was much easier than I ever imagined. Who said you can't buy happiness?

This is a must-have. Does rakers and teeth in one pass. Love it!

I've only used it a few times so far but was impressed with the aggressive file. Only takes 2-3 swipes to sharpen up the teeth. Saves a ton of time by doing both the rakers and teeth at the same time.
